浴衣の帯（半幅帯） 結び方

浴衣帯（半幅帯）の表側となる面と向き合い、浴衣帯（半幅帯）のテ先から60センチくらいのところを持ち、テの長さを決めます。
浴衣帯（半幅帯）が長いときは余裕を持たせます。

The right side faces your body.
Holding the obi 60cm from the edge, which is called “TE”.

浴衣帯（半幅帯）の外側から二つに合わせ、後ろに回し、前に渡します。
テを決めたところを体の中心にあてます。

Fold the “TE” in half（the right side is inside）and pass it from right hand to left hand rounding along your body.
The wrapped obi should be the right side out. Bring the folded “TE” at the center in front.

テ先を肩にあずけ、自分が右にまわって浴衣帯（半幅帯）を巻いていきます。

Put the “TE” over your shoulder. Wrap the other end of the obi（called “TALE”）twice.

ふた巻きしたら、タレを内側に斜めに折り上げます。

Fold the “TALE” in half lengthwise.（the right side out）

タレを腕にのせ、テを二つ折りにし、テが上にくるように結びます。

Tie the “TE” and “TALE” as the “TE” is up and “TALE” is down.

浴衣帯（半幅帯）の上あたりでしっかり締めます。

Fasten again at the upper wrapped obi.

浴衣帯（半幅帯）がゆるまないように、テが上、タレが下になるよう結び目を立てます。

Pull the “TE” up and “TALE” down.

タレを広げ、腰幅くらいで右側に折り返して羽を作ります。

Open the “TALE”, then fold it back on itself to make a bow.

たたんだ端を右手（この時結び目から8〜9cm移動した所）で持ち、同じように左羽を作り、残りをすのこだたみにします。
左右対称になります。

It is up to your girth and the length of the obi, how many times hold it back.
Only make sure that the wings should be symmetry.

羽の中央をしっかりとつかみ、内側と外側の両端を折り上げ、Wひだを作ります。

Hold the center of the bow tie. Make the folds as the picture.

羽の端をぎゅっと引き、ひだを整えます。

Pull the bow-tie-pleats to make tidy.

羽を下げ裏地（この場合は黄色）が三角形に出ているか確認します。

Pull up the bow tie and check whether the wrong side shows triangle.

反対側も確認し、裏地（黄色）が三角形に出ていれば、きちんと羽が取れています。

Pull down the bow tie and check whether the wrong side shows triangle.
If they shows triangle it is to say you have got the right tie bow.

テを羽の中央に下ろし、内側に巻いて出します。ふた巻きして締めます。

Pull down the “TE” over the folds and up through between the rapped obi and the bow tie twice.

あまったテを浴衣帯（半幅帯）と伊達締めの間に入れて、下から引き出します。

Then “TE” is pulled down through between the wrapped obi and datesime.

浴衣帯（半幅帯）の下から引き出したテを小さくたたみ、文庫を安定させるため、縦にして浴衣帯（半幅帯）の中心に入れ込みます。

The protrude “TE” is folded back in small, move it lengthways and insert it into between the knot and the wrapped obi.

羽を開いて整えます。

Open the bow-tie-pleats to be tidy.

結び目を右回りに後ろに回し、浴衣帯(半幅帯)の文庫結びの完成です。

Rotate the obi clockwise to the back, positioning in center.
